Colour: Light ruby red with pleasant violet tones, typical of the variety.
Nose: Intense aromas of red fruits.
Structure: Elegant, fresh, persistent, with soft tannins and pleasant red fruit flavours.
Food Pairing: Asanguefreddo should be drunk chilled to show off its inviting, delicate body and enhance the variety’s elegance. We suggest pairing it with pasta with sea-urchins, squid-ink, sarde a beccafico (sardines stuffed with pine-nuts and herbs) and tuna pasta. It makes a good summer partner for meat due to its fragrance and freshness.
